1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using the services provided by MMEC Solutions ("the Company"), you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If these terms are not accepted in their entirety, use of services is not authorized.
2. Services Provided MMEC Solutions offers personalized technology consulting, support, and training for families, seniors, and small businesses. Services include, but are not limited to, tech setup, troubleshooting, cybersecurity guidance, and digital skills training, available both remotely and, where applicable, in-person (e.g., Grand Rapids, MI area). Specific service details and pricing are outlined on the MMEC Solutions website or provided in individual quotes.
3. Client Responsibilities Clients are responsible for:
Providing accurate and complete information regarding their technology issues and needs.
Ensuring access to necessary devices, software, and internet connectivity for remote support.
Cooperating with technicians during service delivery.
Having appropriate licenses for all software used.
Backing up critical data before any service is performed. MMEC Solutions is not responsible for data loss.
4. Service Fees and Payment
Pricing: Service fees are based on the rates or project quotes communicated to the Client prior to service delivery.
Billing: Services are typically billed Per hour or per project depending on agreed upon scope. Details will be provided upon consultation.
Payment: Payment is due [e.g., upon completion of service, within X days of invoice]. Accepted payment methods will be communicated.
Cancellations/Rescheduling: Clients are requested to notify MMEC Solutions at least 24 hours in advance for cancellations or rescheduling. Fees may apply for late cancellations.
5. Scope of Work & Limitations
MMEC Solutions will use best efforts to resolve tech issues and provide effective training. However, no guarantee can be made that all issues will be resolved, or that a specific outcome will be achieved due to the variable nature of technology.
Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
MMEC Solutions reserves the right to refuse service that is deemed beyond its scope of expertise, unethical, or illegal.
6. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, MMEC Solutions shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use its services.
7. Confidentiality MMEC Solutions will treat all Client information and data as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties, except as required by law or necessary for the provision of services (e.g., using secure remote access tools).
8. Intellectual Property All materials, guides, training content, and methodologies developed or provided by MMEC Solutions remain the intellectual property of MMEC Solutions. Clients are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal or internal business use only.
9. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
10. Changes to Terms MMEC Solutions reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
